About Maire Oakley

Maire Oakley qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1988 and for the last 20 years has specialised in the area of  Women’s Health both in the NHS and in private practice.

In order to achieve registration by the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Women’s Health (ACPWH) Maire has completed specialist post-graduate courses in continence and ante/post-natal care.

As a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) and the Health Professions Council (HCP), Maire is fully insured and follows the strict codes of practice, ethics and conduct required by these professional bodies.

Maire is passionate about providing high-quality, evidence-based care to women of all ages and understands that seeking treatment for embarrassing and sensitive issues can be very stressful.
